The SBS Friday-Saturday drama is riding high headed into the endgame. Episode 14 peaked at 18.5% nationwide (15.1% in the Seoul metro), dominating its time slot and all Saturday mini-series. Among 20-49s, it hit 4.8% with a peak of 5.75%, ranking No. 1 among all broadcasts to kick off the year. It also topped Good Data’s TV-OTT drama buzz chart for the first week of January and led the combined TV-OTT performer rankings.
Episode 15, airing Friday, unfolds against a military base backdrop as the Rainbow Dark Heroes mount their final revenge operation. Before joining Rainbow Taxi, Do-gi served as a special forces officer; after filing to return to duty, he disappears―cranking anticipation to a fever pitch for the final stretch.
New stills released on the 8th show the team―Jang (Kim Eui-sung), Go Eun (Pyo Ye-jin), Choi (Jang Hyuk-jin) and Park (Bae Yoo-ram)―huddling to track Do-gi down, their anxious faces telegraphing the stakes.
Stealing the spotlight is Park’s tear-jerking (and a little hilarious) re-enlistment. He’s long been the squad’s willing crash-test dummy for Do-gi’s schemes, and this time he’s taking one for the team again―marching back into uniform. But the slapstick quickly turns to struggle as he’s soon seen in tears, crawling under an army truck. What fresh ordeal is he facing now?
Why did Do-gi go dark alone, and can the Rainbow Dark Heroes retrace his steps before it’s too late? All eyes are on "Taxi Driver 3"’s endgame.
Episode 15 of "Taxi Driver 3" airs Friday, Jan. 9 at 9:50 p.m. KST on SBS.
