The Indian-born TV personality and entrepreneur welcomed his first child, a daughter, around 1 p.m. on Jan. 6. His wife, Hye-eun, delivered a healthy baby, and both mom and newborn are doing well, according to his team.
On Jan. 7, Lucky shared the happy news himself on social media, posting the first photo of their baby girl, Ra-hee, alongside childhood snapshots of himself and his wife ― a heartwarming side-by-side reveal that melted fans’ feeds.
“Welcome to our world, Ra-hee ― the most precious gift to Mom Hye-eun and Dad Lucky,” he wrote, adding, “They say life finds its meaning when you hold someone close. We’re so grateful you chose us.” He promised, “Mom and Dad will love you endlessly and be your safe haven, always.”
Known on Korean TV for his warmth and reliability, Lucky has endeared himself to viewers as a devoted husband and family man. With his candid stories about married life, fans are flooding his comments with congratulations on the new arrival.
Just last week, he lit up JTBC’s "Knowing Bros," dishing on newlywed life and sharing sweet anecdotes about his marriage. Calling his decision to wed his Korean partner “the best choice,” he kept the studio laughing with his signature wit and upbeat charm.
Lucky first came to South Korea in 1996 and worked as a travel guide before breaking into entertainment. He’s appeared in a range of shows, from the drama "Rustic Period" to talk hit "Non Summit" and travel favorite "Welcome, First Time in Korea?," steadily building his profile with audiences. He married Hye-eun, a former flight attendant, in September, when they also shared the news that they were expecting.
