On the Dec. 28 episode of SBS’s "Running Man", the cast took on their final race of the year.
Before the main event, producers slipped each member a secret rule. Convinced no one had caught on to his, Ji Seok-jin went all-in ― which only made the others laugh as his excitement gave the game away.
With only Kim Jong-kook and Yoo Jae-suk left in play, Ji grew suspicious. “Why does Jong-kook keep waiting for me? This feels weird,” he joked, side-eyeing a partially torn name tag like it had been ripped on purpose. He pressed Yoo: “You’re not trying to pull something, are you? Did you all meet without me? Do you know what’s going on? Is this a hidden-camera prank?”
Eventually, Ji put the pieces together and correctly called the secret-rule twist ― a small victory in his column.
Producers then teed up a quick exhibition showdown with Yang Se-chan. Ji swaggered in, only to be dropped immediately by his merciless younger castmate ― revenge postponed yet again.
The day’s theme was a “Year-End Prize Audit” race: members had to unload as many of their 2025 winnings as possible or risk “paying tax” on whatever they kept.
After a string of missions, HAHA and Song Ji-hyo ― who’d collected the fewest prizes this year ― topped the board and earned immunity from punishment.
Despite the perk he earned from nailing the hidden mission, Ji Seok-jin still finished last and was locked in for the penalty. Following a ball draw, Yang Se-chan was tapped to join him, making them the final “water bomb” duo of 2025.
As the episode wrapped, Yoo Jae-suk thanked viewers for sticking with "Running Man" throughout 2025 and promised, “We’ll keep running hard in 2026,” setting the stage for another year of laughs.
