The SBS Wednesday-Thursday drama follows Gong Ji-hyeok (Jang Ki-yong), Go Da-rim (Ahn Eun-jin), and Kim Sun-woo (Kim Moo-joon) in a high-voltage, can’t-look-away tangle that has viewers swooning one minute and aching the next―fueling buzz both in Korea and abroad.
After an earth-shattering first kiss in Jeju, Ji-hyeok and Da-rim were forced apart, only to reunite at baby-products company Natural Bebe on the Mother TF (task force) team as team leader and staffer. Da-rim, a single woman, is posing as a mom to keep her family afloat. Believing she’s a married mother, Ji-hyeok torments himself over falling for someone he thinks he shouldn’t love.
Da-rim shoulders the debt left by a sister who disappeared and a mother who collapsed from the shock, so she can’t afford to quit. She asks her best friend of 20 years, single dad Kim Sun-woo―who’s raising a six-year-old son―to act as her fake husband. Even so, she can’t shake her growing feelings for Ji-hyeok.
Sun-woo agrees against his better judgment because he can’t stand to see Da-rim struggle. Staying by her side, he realizes friendship has shifted into love―while also clocking Ji-hyeok’s feelings. He finally works up the nerve to confess to Da-rim.
With emotions in a full knot, Episode 10 (aired Dec. 11) had Ji-hyeok and Da-rim finally confirm their feelings for each other. On Dec. 17, producers dropped a tease from moments after that ending―heart-bursting for some, gut-wrenching for others―instantly spiking curiosity.
In the still, Ji-hyeok and Da-rim are wrapped in a tight embrace, sharing a kiss, while Sun-woo appears to be watching from a short distance. Now that he’s seen their mutual romance, how will Sun-woo respond? The triangle looks primed for a serious turn heading into Episode 11.
