Season 4 of "Whenever Possible", a variety show that turns quick breaks in everyday life into lucky, fast-paced challenges, premieres tonight at 9 p.m. KST. Its most recent episode (No. 35) drew a 5.1% rating in the Seoul metro and 4.5% nationwide, topping its time slot among households and leading all Tuesday entertainment shows in the key 20-49 demo at 1.5%, according to Nielsen Korea.
For the Season 4 kickoff, "Taxi Driver 3" stars Lee Je-hoon and Pyo Ye-jin join as “gap friends” (special guests). And all eyes are on co-host Yoo Yeon-seok and Lee Je-hoon as “Suzy’s leading men” from "Architecture 101" link up again.
A die-hard "Architecture 101" fan, host Yoo Jae-suk jumps right in, teasing Yoo Yeon-seok: “Hey, why did you take Suzy home?” Lee Je-hoon plays along, admitting, “I cried a lot at that scene.” When Yoo Jae-suk groans, “Yeon-seok’s the worst ― he should’ve filmed himself walking home alone,” Yoo Yeon-seok protests, “I only shot the drop-off. Everything after that was just Je-hoon’s reaction.” Then Yoo Yeon-seok grins, “I actually found a Polaroid I took with Suzy the other day,” prompting Lee Je-hoon to confess, “I still have mine too ― Yeon-seok took it,” and the two bond again over their Suzy-era memories.
Yoo Jae-suk and a back-in-his-element Yoo Yeon-seok also slip into effortless banter. When Yoo Yeon-seok, taken by the scenery, suggests, “Should we grab a few photos before we go?” Yoo Jae-suk shoots back, “We’re on the clock. Besides, you’ve already acted at the Blue House,” cracking everyone up. Lee Je-hoon jumps in to defend his pal ― “Yeon-seok just really loves taking pictures” ― flexing their "Architecture 101" loyalty and melting Yoo Yeon-seok in the process.
With Yoo Yeon-seok and Lee Je-hoon’s rekindled bro chemistry ― plus the quick-hit antics of Yoo Jae-suk and Pyo Ye-jin ― anticipation is high for how their stolen moments will play out. "Whenever Possible" airs tonight at 9 p.m. KST.
