Choi revealed on Instagram on Dec. 10 that she quietly tied the knot in a private ceremony earlier this year. She added that her husband is a non-celebrity, noting he works outside the entertainment industry.
The star explained that she had hoped to share the happy news alongside her next project, but “a precious new life found us first.”
Choi said she’d always imagined that if she got married, she’d love to have a child, and now she feels nothing but gratitude and awe. After battling “brutal” morning sickness, she shared that she’s finally entered a more stable stage of her pregnancy and felt ready to go public.
Apologizing for the late update, Choi promised to return with even deeper performances as she embarks on motherhood.
Born in 1985, Choi made her debut in 2010 with KBS's drama"The Great Gye Chun-bin."
