Set in a turbulent yet ascendant 1970s Korea, "Made in Korea" tracks Baek Ki-tae (Hyun Bin), a man determined to turn the nation itself into his profit engine and climb to the pinnacle of wealth and power, and prosecutor Jang Geon-young (Jung Woo-sung), who hunts him to the edge with unflinching resolve. Their collision with era-defining events sets the stage for a sweeping power saga.
The newly revealed "Blood War" poster distills the show’s intensity in one arresting image. Against an epic backdrop that captures a country caught between chaos and takeoff, cinematic snapshots of characters consumed by ambition and madness are framed inside the "Made in Korea" typography, hinting at twisty alliances and fates in constant flux. The tagline ― "The Powerful Change the World. A Blood War." ― seals the ominous, no-way-back mood.
The main trailer opens on Baek’s chilling declaration: "The powerful change the world. From now on, I’m going to change it." A tense deal with Ikeda Yuji (Won Ji-an) cuts to Jang Geon-young and Oh Ye-jin (Seo Eun-soo) closing in, ratcheting up the suspense. Hints of Baek’s double life and his unbridled ascent to the top spark the first shots in a blood-soaked power struggle. Large-scale location work spanning Busan, Japan and Thailand, plus visceral, character-driven action, amplify the show’s scope and momentum. It ends with Baek staring down Jang: "I have the power to take responsibility for my choices," teasing a bruising duel of wills.
"Made in Korea" rolls out six episodes on Disney+: two on Dec. 24, two on Dec. 31, then one each on Jan. 7 and Jan. 14, 2026.
