Allegations that comedian Park Na-rae, 40, received IV treatments from an unlicensed “injection aunt” are rippling across the industry, with the fallout now touching other stars.

After Park’s former managers raised the claims, MBC set a December 2024 episode of "I Live Alone" to private on its website. The episode featured Park and Jung Jae-hyung making kimchi, and included a moment where Jung asked, “Should I book an IV for tomorrow, too?” to which Park replied, “Let’s book ours together.”

MBC hasn’t disclosed why the episode was pulled, but the brief exchange sparked speculation that the “IV booking” referenced the so-called “injection aunt.”

SHINee’s KEY, a regular alongside Park on "I Live Alone," has also been swept up in the chatter. The woman at the center of the controversy, identified as A, previously posted multiple photos of KEY’s dog on social media with friendly captions like “It’s been over 10 years and you still glare at me,” fueling questions about their connection.

Park’s legal team has pushed back, saying she requested a house call from her regular hospital’s doctor and nurse and did not violate medical law. Even so, some medical professionals, including voices within the Korean Medical Association, argue that if A is not a physician yet administered prescription-only injectables, that would constitute illegal medical practice.
