The series has captivated viewers worldwide, recently climbing to No. 1 on Netflix’s Global Top 10 (Non-English) for Nov. 24?30. Its dopamine-spiking blend of swoons and laughs is fueling the buzz.
Tonight’s Episode 8 is poised to hit rom-com fans right in the sweet spot as feelings deepen for Gong Ji-hyeok (Jang Ki-yong), Go Da-rim (Ahn Eun-jin), Kim Sun-woo (Kim Moo-jun), and Yoo Ha-young (Woo Da-bi)―and the foursome’s tangled romance hits a major turning point.
Episode 7 ended with a bombshell: Ji-hyeok told his family he’s fast-tracking a wedding with Ha-young. He wrongly believes Ha-young and Sun-woo are having an affair, and convinces himself that marrying her ASAP will shut it down―and keep Da-rim from wavering toward him or getting hurt.
Da-rim, who quietly likes Ji-hyeok but must keep pretending to be a married mom to make ends meet, is left reeling by the wedding news. For Sun-woo―who’s drawn to Da-rim while fielding Ha-young’s bold advances―the situation is just as messy. He can’t simply celebrate a rival’s exit, and he can’t keep lying forever.
Meanwhile, Ha-young―who knows Da-rim and Sun-woo aren’t actually married and has been flooring the gas on her crush on Sun-woo―faces a shock of her own. If she bows to her parents and marries Ji-hyeok, the first love she chose for herself could be over before it begins.
