JENNIE just notched a new milestone with her first full-length album, “Ruby.”

On Dec. 3 (local time), Rolling Stone unveiled its “The 100 Best Albums of 2025,” placing “Ruby” at No. 29 ― the highest ranking for any K-pop act on this year’s list.

“‘Ruby’ leans into the ideas that ruled 2000s and 2010s R&B-tinged pop, modernizing them in often intriguing ways. JENNIE shows a striking ability to command the center of sweet pop-R&B,” the magazine wrote, praising the project’s sleek, contemporary spin on nostalgia.

Her year-end dominance didn’t stop there. JENNIE topped Forbes Korea’s “Korean Idols of the Year 2025,” underscoring her global impact.

She was also the only artist from Korea to participate in Spotify’s “Wrapped 2025” campaign. On Spotify’s Wrapped 2025 charts, “Ruby” was the only K-pop solo release to appear on “Best Pop Albums of 2025,” while title track “like JENNIE” finished at No. 43 on the year’s Most-Streamed Songs worldwide ― the highest placement for a K-pop female release this year.

On Apple Music’s year-end “Top 100: Global,” “like JENNIE” landed at No. 62, making JENNIE the first K-pop solo artist ever to enter the chart.

Packed with 15 tracks spanning multiple styles ― including the standout single “like JENNIE” ― “Ruby” was executive-produced by JENNIE herself, spotlighting her identity and range as a solo artist. With record-setting feats and crossover appeal, she’s continuing to rewrite what a K-pop solo era can look like.
