Fresh off a premiere week that peaked at 12.2% nationwide for Episode 2 (Nielsen Korea), "Taxi Driver 3" (from writer Oh Sang-ho and director Kang Bo-seung) unveiled a special poster of Yoon, who makes a special appearance as Cha Byung-jin, the antagonist of Episodes 3 and 4.
Back two years after its last season, the series had promised even darker villains and a stacked slate of guest antagonists. Proving the point, Japanese actor Kasamatsu Sho anchored the opening case with a commanding turn that amped up the intensity from the jump.
Next up is Yoon Si-yoon as a ruthless player at the top of a used-car fraud ring. In the new poster, his razor-sharp jawline, gaunt frame, and ice-cold stare radiate danger―he looks like a completely different person. Fans are eager to see his transformation and the sparks that will fly when he faces Lee Je-hoon’s Kim Do-gi.
“To embody Cha Byung-jin, Yoon threw himself into the role―he even shed a dramatic amount of weight on his own,” the "Taxi Driver 3" team shares. “Viewers who know him for his clean-cut image will be shocked by this unexpected side.”
Episode 3 of "Taxi Driver 3" airs Friday, Nov. 28 at 9:50 p.m. KST.
