On the Nov. 23 episode, Lee teamed up with his dad to plan something special for Mom, celebrating their recent anniversary and her upcoming birthday.
Under the guise of a “family photo shoot,” Mom arrived to find a wedding dress waiting just for her ― a setup for a vow renewal 46 years after their original “I do.”
Once she slipped into the gown, Lee entered in a sharp suit while his father appeared in a tux. Taking cues from his son, Dad showered his wife with praise: “You look amazing ― like we’re getting married again. That dress is perfect on you. You’re beautiful.”
The couple posed for their vow-renewal photos, laughing through the nerves and making a new memory together.
Then came a surprise within the surprise: Dad walked in mid-shoot singing a serenade for his wife, eventually handing her the mic so they could finish the song as a duet.
Like old times, the two sang together while Lee watched, beaming. They exchanged simple, tender words ― “Thank you. I love you.” ― that said it all.
For gifts, Dad first presented a 1,000-piece puzzle made from their family trip photos, drawing a politely hesitant reaction from Mom.
From the studio panel, Seo Jang-hoon joked that she was probably hoping for “something that sparkles.” Sure enough, Dad’s real gift was a gleaming gold bracelet.
At the sight of the jewelry, Mom’s face lit up. “She looks truly happy now,” Seo quipped. “She didn’t even smile before!”
A teaser at the end promised a first: all the "My Little Old Boy" daughters gathering together, setting up next week’s episode with plenty of anticipation.
