On the Nov. 18 episode of SBS’s "The Ballad of Us", the competition moved into the Top 6 showdown for the semifinals.
Host Jun Hyun-moo remarked that he keeps hearing about the show everywhere lately, especially from fellow actors.
“My kids are finally reacting,” Cha said with a laugh. “No matter how well my movies or dramas do, they never watch. But my kid sent me a screenshot―when we hit No. 3 on Netflix―and said, ‘Dad, career high.’”
The panel joked that it was a huge deal for the kid who never leaves his room to speak up like that.
“Exactly―it's a big deal,” Cha agreed, adding, “I’m hearing that elementary and middle schools are buzzing about the show right now.”
