Comedian Kim Soo-yong is on the mend after collapsing during a shoot and receiving CPR, sharing a cheeky health update through a text exchange with fellow comedian Park Jun-hyung.

On Nov. 14, Kim lost consciousness while filming in Gapyeong, Gyeonggi Province. He received immediate CPR at the scene before being rushed to a hospital and treated in the ICU. He has since regained consciousness and will continue with further tests and treatment.

On Nov. 17, Park posted screenshots of their KakaoTalk messages on social media. When Park checked in―"Hyung, are you okay? I'm worried"―Kim responded with his trademark dry wit: "I'm lucky to be alive. Came back from the dead." Park joked, "Guess I can save the condolence money―kidding," and Kim shot back, "Bummer."

Park added in his caption, "I was stunned when I heard he'd collapsed and reached out right away. Comedians may be hurting, but their spirit doesn't go down easily. I felt that strange strength of our world again today. Soo-yong, get well soon."

News of Kim’s recovery has sparked a wave of support from fellow comedians and fans, all wishing him a speedy return.
