On Monday at 10:10 p.m. KST, SBS’s "Same Bed, Different Dreams 2: You Are My Destiny" will feature the scene-stealing actor unveiling his wife―often compared to Kim Sa-rang―and their lookalike “mini-me” daughter. The episode also continues the much-buzzed-about in-law showdown featuring agribusiness heir Shin Seung-jae and his wife, Cheon Hye-rin.
In a pre-taped segment, Tae shares the story of how he first met his wife. Joking about his approach to flirting, he told hosts Kim Gu-ra and Seo Jang-hoon, “Guys like us need a strategy,” which ruffled the duo―prompting Kim Gu-ra to protest that he definitely doesn’t belong in that category.
Tae then reveals his five-year-old daughter’s face for the first time, drawing gasps for her striking resemblance to both mom and dad. Viewers will see the Kim Sa-rang lookalike wife and their carbon-copy daughter on the broadcast.
Meanwhile, Shin Seung-jae―nicknamed the “Lee Jae-yong of farming,” a nod to the Samsung heir―stuns everyone with footage of a near-fatal on-the-job scare. While performing artificial insemination on cattle, he was seriously injured, recalling, “I got rammed by a cow and blacked out,” and “I flew about a meter.” Watching the clip, Kim Gu-ra warned how dangerous barn work can be, and the studio fell silent.
Later, Cheon Hye-rin declares “war” on her mother-in-law. While threshing perilla in the fall fields, she jokes that smacking relieves stress and playfully thumps her MIL’s back―then teases her balding father-in-law that his hair looks like a kiwi bird, leaning into her no-filter Gen Z daughter-in-law persona. The hosts were stunned, wondering if anyone can really say that to their in-laws.
