On the Nov. 16 episode, the model-actor visited a shaman who advised the hit film "Exhuma", with supermodel Han Hye-jin joining him for the reading.
The medium told Han she’s headed for marriage soon ― and that the match could be with someone younger ― but also cautioned her to be extra careful next year, warning of a potential accident. The shaman added that Han should avoid tinkering with her yard: no digging a well, no placing large stones and no installing a new gate for the time being.
When Bae asked if a ritual could ward off bad luck, the shaman shook it off, saying neither ceremonies nor talismans would help right now. “Let it be until next year, then revisit it once this unlucky cycle passes,” the medium advised.
The conversation turned to Bae’s childhood, and he opened up about his most difficult years. “Middle school was the hardest,” he reflected. “I had no parents around, no safety net, no tomorrow, no dreams. I was a loner, and my teen years just magnified the loneliness.” He added that surviving those hardships made him stronger: “Because I went through so much, I can handle most things now. In a way, I’m grateful ― it made me who I am.”
Then the shaman’s tone shifted. Channeling Bae’s late father, the medium asked why he hadn’t been visiting his gravesite. Bae admitted he’d stayed away after the funeral because estranged relatives gather there, and he had cut ties during his toughest times.
The shaman began to sing softly and conveyed a message: Bae’s father missed him dearly and felt sorry. Bae answered with a steady voice, “There’s nothing to be sorry about. Thank you for bringing me into this world and for raising me.”
The medium urged him to live well ― and to go see his father. Bae closed the moment with a promise that resonated: “Rest easy. Don’t worry about me. I’m okay.”
