BTOB’s Lee Changsub, MAMAMOO’s Solar and MONSTA X’s HYUNGWON are joining forces as “KPOP AURORA HUNTERS.”

SBS’s new global web series "KPOP AURORA HUNTERS" premieres Thursday, Nov. 20 at 7 p.m. KST, streaming worldwide on the SBS KPOP YouTube channel.

Short for “kids obsessed with the aurora,” "KPOP AURORA HUNTERS" turns the trio of K-pop stars into undercover agents on a faux-reality mission across western Canada, chasing clues to a “missing aurora.”

Answering a summons from a mysterious bolt-themed agency―and a delightfully unhinged “director with a screw loose”―the three set off from Calgary, trek through the Rockies and push up toward the Arctic Circle, tackling Canada’s great outdoors, wild weather and whatever chaos comes with it. Expect quick-witted banter, slapstick detours and a travel-cam vibe that keeps the energy high.

“We fused the romance of travel reality with the offbeat world-building of web variety to create something fresh,” said SBS producer Lee Ji-won. “Enjoy the everyday, unfiltered chemistry these three global artists spark as they navigate unfamiliar ground.”

Lee Changsub and Solar bring unmistakable flirty-friend energy, while youngest member HYUNGWON lets his underrated humor loose. With third-gen idols leaning into their human, unguarded sides, the series gleefully blurs the line between real and scripted for a new kind of ride.

Catch new episodes of "KPOP AURORA HUNTERS" every Thursday at 7 p.m. KST on the SBS KPOP channel.
