Premiering Wednesday at 9 p.m., the Wednesday-Thursday series follows a single woman who pretends to be a mom to land a job―and the team leader who falls for her. The romance kicks off with a kiss and leans all the way into that dopamine-hit, mutual-pining energy. The show is written by Ha Yoon-ah and Tae Kyung-min, and directed by Kim Jae-hyun and Kim Hyun-woo.
With two in-demand leads―Jang as Gong Ji-hyeok and Ahn as Go Da-rim―the pairing has already turned heads. From teasers, posters and stills to a joint photoshoot, and even at the Nov. 5 press conference, the duo flaunted easy, effortless chemistry.
Asked about working together, Jang didn’t hold back. “She’s a terrific actor with infectious energy,” he says of Ahn. “Because of her, the set felt bright every day―and our chemistry was fantastic.” He added with a laugh, “Ahn Eun-jin was the vitamin C of our show, a real shot of vitality.” Jang also shared, “We cheered each other on right to the final shoot. I’m really grateful.”
Ahn returned the love. “He’s incredibly flexible as a scene partner,” she says of Jang. “When we tossed around ideas on set, he stayed open and in sync, which let us build fun, layered moments.” She continued, “He watches and listens so closely―he doesn’t miss a beat. Jang Ki-yong is wonderfully meticulous, and because of that, Gong Ji-hyeok feels even richer on screen.”
The visuals are already doing their part: that swoony height difference, the sunshiney smiles, even the stylized promo art―all proof of a pairing that just clicks. Now it’s time to see if the on-screen rhythm lives up to the hype. With two magnetic leads meeting in a genre that lets them shine, ‘Dynamic Kiss’ looks poised to deliver a full-on flutter-fest at home.
