Kim Ji-young, a standout from a hit dating show "Heart Signal 4," just went public with her relationship ― and the internet is buzzing about who her boyfriend might be.
On Nov. 8, she uploaded a YouTube video titled "Autumn with the People I Love (Relationship Reveal)." In it, Kim strolls hand in hand with a man while catching fans up on her life.
"A lot of you have asked if I'm seeing someone, and I said I'd share when I was sure. I'm here to keep that promise today," she says in the clip, describing her boyfriend as an older, non-celebrity who is "kind and steadfast."
Kim says she met her boyfriend through fellow "Heart Signal 4" castmate Lee Ju-mi, and the two laugh as they recall their first meeting.
After the video dropped, online forums lit up with speculation that he could be the founder-CEO behind a major paid book-club community in Korea ― a thirtysomething grad of a top university who has discussed his management philosophy in interviews. Neither Kim nor the rumored exec has confirmed the chatter, and his identity was not revealed in the video.
A former airline flight attendant, Kim now works as an influencer and YouTuber.
