He’s set to appear on SBS’ "My Little Old Boy" this Sunday, Nov. 9 at 9 p.m. KST, just ahead of his first nationwide concert tour, where he’ll show off his multi-hyphenate entertainer chops.
At a recent studio taping, Cho made his entrance by serenading the show’s panel of celebrity moms. Nicknamed the “king of heart poses,” he rolled out a playful four-heart combo that had the moms cracking up and completely charmed.
Opening up about baby No. 2, Cho said he’d long hoped for another child but held back because he knew how hard pregnancy can be. Then, while he was filming the movie "My Daughter Is a Zombie," GUMMY surprised him with one line: “Let’s have a second baby.” He says he literally sprang to his feet, and the couple started planning on the spot.
He also teased a bit of serendipity from their journey: during a walk, he picked up “something,” and soon after, they conceived ― they even used that “something” as the baby’s in-utero nickname. So what is the nickname? Viewers will find out on the show.
Seven years into marriage, Cho said they rarely argue ― except on one topic. When that comes up, he joked, GUMMY is the only person who truly scares him. Reenacting the moment, he shrank in his seat and, to the moms’ delight, slipped into ultra-formal Korean as if addressing a queen.
The proud girl dad also gushed about their 6-year-old daughter, Ye-won, who he says shows a knack for acting like her dad and a lovely singing voice like her mom. When host Shin Dong-yup asked, “If she’s talented at both acting and singing, what would you want her to become?” Cho answered without hesitation.
