Singer Sung Si-kyung, who recently revealed he suffered major financial losses at the hands of a longtime manager, will keep his promise to fans and perform as scheduled at the 2025 Incheon Airport Sky Festival on the 9th.

It will be his first major appearance since the bombshell news, and all eyes are on whether he’ll address the situation onstage.

His agency, SK Jaewon, confirmed the singer will take the stage at Inspire Resort on Yeongjongdo in Incheon as planned.

Earlier this month, reports surfaced that a former manager, identified only as “A,” had shattered the singer’s trust and caused significant financial damage. On social media, Sung shared that the past few months have been painfully difficult, adding that his body, mind―and even his voice―have taken a hit.

He admitted he’d wrestled with whether he could, or even should, perform, but ultimately chose to show up for the audience that bought tickets. Separately, he has paused uploads to his YouTube channel for the time being.

The allegations go beyond a simple money dispute. According to claims by his longtime bandleader, known as “B,” the ex-manager allegedly siphoned off complimentary tickets meant for performers and staff, resold them as VIP seats, and funneled the proceeds into his wife’s bank account―embezzling what was described as hundreds of millions of won. B suggested that figure could be just the tip of the iceberg.

SK Jaewon says the manager has been dismissed and that an internal audit is underway to assess the full scope of the losses.

As Sung Si-kyung steps back under the lights, fans are watching to see whether he’ll speak directly to the controversy on the 9th―and whether the applause helps him turn the page.
