Jang Ki-yong is turning heads with a striking new concept―and perfect timing ahead of his small-screen return.

SBS’s new Wednesday-Thursday rom-com "Dynamic Kiss" premieres Nov. 12 at 9 p.m. The series, from writers Ha Yoon-a and Tae Kyung-min and directors Kim Jae-hyun and Kim Hyun-woo, follows a single woman who pretends to be a mom to land a job―and the by-the-book team leader who falls for her. Jang plays Gong Ji-hyeok, a man knocked sideways by an earth-shattering kiss, and he’s poised to swoon the living-room crowd.

In the meantime, Jang fronts Esquire Korea’s Winter 2025 special issue. Channeling dystopian movie vibes, he works through bold sets and styling to spin a story with nothing but visuals. While the drama hints at sharp, tailored looks befitting a team leader, the shoot unlocks a completely different edge―and it pops on the page.

Jang, who personally pitched the photoshoot concept, said, “It’s been a while since I walked a runway―I’ve been focused on acting―but this time I wanted to bring ‘model Jang Ki-yong’ back out.”

In the accompanying interview, he teases what’s to come in "Dynamic Kiss": “In the show, everyone on my team is a mom, which is funny all on its own,” he shared, promising workplace sparks with a comedic twist. He added, “There are a lot of kiss scenes―that’s one reason to watch,” building anticipation for his pink-hued chemistry with Ahn Eun-jin.
