KPLUS model Kim Jae-min took home the Grand Prize at the 2025 Supermodel Contest.
Held November 1 at SBS Prism Tower in Seoul’s Sangam district, the 31st edition of the event set out to spotlight “model-entertainers” who can straddle fashion and entertainment, drawing heavy interest from industry insiders at home and abroad.
After a fierce showdown, Kim clinched the top honor, signaling the rise of a next-gen star. Judges praised his razor-sharp walk, commanding stage presence, trend-forward visuals, and cool confidence. His expressive, charismatic finals performance didn’t just underscore his modeling chops―it hinted at real potential in acting and variety shows, too.
“I honestly didn’t expect to win, which makes this feel even more overwhelming,” Kim said after the announcement. “I’m excited to show what I can do on stages in Korea and beyond.”
