'Running Man' Puts Ji Seok-jin Through Foot & Fire Therapy: "This Isn't What I Signed Up for"

"Running Man" rallied behind Ji Seok-jin’s latest “stay young” mission.

On the Nov. 2 episode of SBS’s "Running Man", the cast jumped into a fast-and-loose “keyword race.”

Using weekly keywords as clues, the members battled to dodge penalties. With some carryover tasks wrapped―plus a celebration of Ji Ye-eun’s return―the group put a “rejuvenation therapy” on the line for Ji Seok-jin, who’s been joking he’ll stay in his 50s for three years straight.

Before the game, Ji Seok-jin asked Ji Ye-eun, who was back on the race after a break, “Feels good being here after three weeks, right?”

“I’m moved. More touched than giddy,” she said, tearing up as the moment hit her. The cast scrambled: “Why are you crying? She’s sobbing!” Yang Se-chan tried to lighten the mood, quipping it might just be “hormones.” HAHA then apologized for past jokes about her appearance, adding a sincere nod to her previous thyroid issues.

Two treatments awaited Ji Seok-jin: a “foot therapy” massage done with the practitioner’s feet, and a fire-based therapy. “So you’re going to stomp me and then roast me?” he shot back, half-joking, half-horrified.

But when he heard they supposedly work, he flipped instantly: “If it makes me younger, I’m in.” He would try both, while a mini-mission determined which teammates had to join him.

In the game, one representative described how to draw the given word by comparing it to shapes or objects; each member then guessed based on their own sketch. If they failed across three rounds, more people would be drafted into treatment. Sizing up his odds, Ji Seok-jin shrugged, “Honestly, I’ve got no reason to try hard―I’m getting it no matter what,” eyeing potential therapy buddies.

Despite the team’s frantic efforts, they whiffed all three rounds, and Ji Seok-jin earned three companions.

He tapped HAHA and the ever-energetic Choi Daniel for the fire therapy “to melt some belly fat and burn off that flailing energy,” and picked Yoo Jae-suk as his partner for the foot therapy, adding he hopes Jae-suk “stays youthful and keeps running with "Running Man" for a long time.”

Ji Seok-jin hit the foot therapy table first. Because the massage is done with feet, the cast couldn’t resist messing around―especially Yoo Jae-suk. Once Ji Seok-jin caught on, the two broke into a full-on Tom-and-Jerry chase around the set.

After sprinting laps, Yoo Jae-suk cracked, “I’m going home. Today was too fun. Between HAHA’s outfit and this, I’m set―I can live off this for a month,” sending everyone into fits of laughter.

Back on the table, Ji Seok-jin finally waved the white flag mid-session, stopping after just one side. The lopsided “before-and-after” effect on his face was hilariously obvious.

Yoo Jae-suk braved the foot therapy next―and also bailed halfway, leaving only one side done. The cast howled that he looked like a split-screen filter: one side smoothed out, the other still scrunched.

Then came the fire therapy for Ji Seok-jin, HAHA, and Choi Daniel. As Ji morphed into a human campfire, he groaned, “Look, I didn’t mean this extreme just to get younger,” instantly regretting his earlier bravado.
