Fresh off a 10-country tour that stretched from Asia to Latin America, actor Jinyoung took home the Asia Star Award― the night’s top honor―at the 20th anniversary edition of the Asia Model Awards.
On October 30, at High1 Resort in Jeongseon, Gangwon Province, Jinyoung accepted the ceremony’s highest prize to roaring cheers. The win caps a standout 2025 that saw him expand his reach well beyond Asia to the global stage.
Jinyoung has been one of the busiest stars this year. After heating up the early months with KBS2’s drama “Who Is She” and the film “You Are the Apple of My Eye,” he rolled straight into a world tour.
Announcing fan meetings across roughly 10 cities and countries, he hit major hubs throughout Asia and then Brazil, Peru, Mexico, and Colombia―meeting fans around the world and solidifying his status as one of the year’s most in-demand actors.
Most recently, Jinyoung set new viewership marks with the Genie TV original “Ms. Incognito,” taking on a fresh challenge as Jeon Dong-min, a single dad juggling life with his son while tending a strawberry farm. He’s also stepping into the Chinese-language market with the Taiwanese original film “The Photo from 1977,” which has been officially invited to the Golden Horse Film Festival, one of the region’s most prestigious honors.
Having conquered screens across Asia with both drama and film, Jinyoung is currently reviewing his next project―and looks poised for another packed year ahead.
