"Dynamic Kiss" (written by Ha Yoon-a and Tae Kyung-min; directed by Kim Jae-hyun and Kim Hyun-woo) premieres Wednesday, Nov. 12 at 9 p.m. KST on SBS. The series follows a single woman who pretends to be a mom to land a job and the team leader who falls for her, locking the pair into a mutual crush they can’t quite confess. Jang Ki-yong plays Gong Ji-hyeok, and Ahn Eun-jin stars as Go Da-rim ― a pairing that has viewers buzzing even before the first episode.
As the title hints, a kiss is the catalyst here. An earth-shaking smooch sends the two headfirst into a spark-heavy romance: it rattles the love-averse Ji-hyeok and jump-starts Da-rim’s heart in the middle of her tough-as-nails reality.
Most K-rom-coms stick to the tried-and-true: a fated meet-cute, playful bickering, a slow-burn flirtation, a hurdle, then finally a kiss ― often right at the episode 4 cliffhanger, as fans like to joke.
"Dynamic Kiss" gleefully flips that playbook. The leads kiss in episode 1, and the love follows. The result is brisk, cathartic, and deliciously bold ― the kind of dopamine-charged chemistry you can feel through the screen. Jang and Ahn lean into the poppy rhythm and timing to make every beat snap.
“Our drama keeps everything viewers love about rom-coms, but turns a few predictable routines on their head,” the production team says. “With fast pacing, magnetic characters, and flutter-inducing chemistry, we’re aiming to get hearts racing. Please look forward to the thrilling, dopamine-sparking romance Jang Ki-yong and Ahn Eun-jin deliver.”
Aiming to revive the weekday romance craze, "Dynamic Kiss" premieres Nov. 12 at 9 p.m. KST on SBS.
