Actor Lee Je-yeon has been tapped to headline the feature 'Get Off My Island!'.

Directed by Lee Yong-seok, the island-set action-comedy follows a lead who travels to a mysterious inheritance―Yeonggwido Island―only to be pulled into a murder case and a high-stakes bid to escape the vicious enforcers who rule the shore.

Lee will play Cha Ji-man, a diligent grinder whose personal mantra is “Do the work first, complain later.” After unexpectedly inheriting an island, Ji-man uncovers its buried secrets and gets swept into a whirlwind of danger. Lee is poised to anchor the film with a performance that toggles between taut tension and sly humor.

Lee has earned steady notice through TV hits like "The Fiery Priest," "Anna," and "Revenant," as well as the films "Psychokinesis," "Illang: The Wolf Brigade," "Intruder," and "Confidential Assignment 2: International."

Most recently, in JTBC’s buzzy drama "Beyond the Bar," Lee drew praise for a raw, relatable portrayal of someone desperate enough to grab even a frayed lifeline to chase a dream.

'Get Off My Island!' is slated to begin filming in October, with plans for a festival run ahead of a wider release at home and abroad.
