A year after meeting on ENA and SBS Plus’s dating series "I Am Solo," Season 20 castmates Youngja and Kwangsoo have tied the knot.
The couple said “I do” at a private ceremony in Seoul on Oct. 12. Sharing the news with fans, Youngja wrote, “Thank you for cheering on our ordinary-but-special story and celebrating with us. The best way we can repay that love is by living happily and joyfully together ― and we plan to do just that.”
Addressing her new husband, she added, “As someone who may see the world differently than I do, I promise to respect you; as the person I’ll spend the rest of my life with, I will honor you; and as my one and only love, I will always love you.”
"I Am Solo" creator-producer Nam Gyu-hong handled the congratulatory remarks ― complete with his signature on-set megaphone ― offering a playful, heartfelt toast wishing the newlyweds a lifetime of love.
Though they didn’t leave the show as a final couple, Youngja and Kwangsoo reconnected after filming and began dating. Kwangsoo, 40, previously worked as a researcher at a major conglomerate and now runs an escape-room business as a game designer and cafe owner. Youngja, 30, works in finance.
