BLACKPINK’s JISOO has teamed up with pop star ZAYN for a brand-new single.
Dropped at 12 a.m. KST on Oct. 10 across major streaming platforms, the track―titled 'EYES CLOSED (Feat. ZAYN)'―marks JISOO’s first solo release in eight months, following her February debut solo album 'AMORTAGE.'
The collaboration blends JISOO’s signature husky tone with ZAYN’s soulful vocals, offering listeners a fresh, moody pop moment. It’s the pair’s first team-up―one sure to draw global attention. ZAYN, formerly of One Direction, notched a No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 with 'Pillowtalk' and has a slate of other hits to his name.
JISOO has been on a roll this year, scoring solo success with 'earthquake,' the lead track from 'AMORTAGE,' while BLACKPINK’s 'JUMP' logged 10 consecutive weeks on the Billboard Hot 100. The group is currently on its 'DEADLINE' world tour. On screen, JISOO has connected with audiences through Coupang Play’s series 'Newtopia' and the film 'Omniscient Reader.'
