In the early hours of Oct. 2 local time, JIMIN of BTS surprised fans with a hotel-room livestream from Paris, checking in about his mindset and what’s next.

The singer flew to France on Sept. 30 as a Dior global ambassador for the brand’s Spring/Summer 2026 show. During the live, he said he’s heads-down on new music: “There isn’t much to rehearse yet because we're still deep in the album,” he told viewers, adding that he’s pushing to keep things moving quickly and hinting it’s “time to for BTS to make a comeback,” with an eye on a return in the first half of next year.

On the upcoming album, JIMIN shared that he’s excited and curious to see how fans will respond, noting it’s a project the team holds close. He emphasized there won’t be another long hiatus, and said he’s back to training―running and dialing in his diet―as he gears up for the comeback.

Addressing the recent leak of a private video involving his ex-girlfriend―which led him to acknowledge the relationship and breakup―JIMIN spoke candidly: he wants to keep showing his best self, but admitted that “living well” and “being a good adult” aren’t easy, adding that he sometimes feels like he’s “just playing the part.” Still, he promised to keep moving forward and to work even harder to show fans the good he’s striving for.

He wrapped by telling fans not to worry about him: “Just stay healthy and happy,” he said, promising to come back soon with more to show. “See you in Korea.”
