On Oct. 1, the day before the 17th anniversary of beloved screen icon Choi Jin-sil’s passing, her daughter Choi Jun-hee visited her mother’s grave and shared a tender tribute. Choi died in 2008 at age 39. She has son Choi Hwan-hee and daughter Choi Jun-hee.
That morning, Jun-hee posted photos on social media holding a bouquet in front of the resting places of her mother and her late uncle, actor-singer Choi Jin-young.
"Sorry I haven’t been able to come more often ― your daughter’s been so busy," she wrote. "The weather is beautiful today, just like that day. Maybe you’re happy I’m here." She added, "I’m leaving you all my love," expressing her enduring longing for her mom.
Choi Jin-sil debuted as a commercial model in 1988 and went on to become one of Korea’s most popular stars over the next two decades.
