Kim Kyu-jong Drops Second Photobook, Sets a New Artist Branding Blueprint
Kim Kyu Jong

Kim Kyu-jong is kicking off a new chapter this September with "Overture", the next installment of his photobook project, as he continues to juggle both group and solo activities.

Building on a first volume that sold out on release, the second entry extends the narrative he’s been crafting offstage. Swapping the spotlight for the lens, Kyu-jong unpacks his inner world and delivers the kind of offstage artistry that resonated with both fans and industry insiders the first time around.

Conceived as a prelude to his next music chapter, "Overture" leans into a bolder, more mature presence. Beyond striking visuals, the book layers in his personal writing and design elements, shaping the material into a cohesive, sensory-driven story.

More than a photobook, the project doubles as an artist-led branding experiment. His label, Connectumm, is reframing the artist’s taste and identity as content that connects with fandom and the broader market―offering a fresh blueprint within the K-pop system.

“Kyu-jong’s evolution isn’t just about one artist’s growth,” a Connectumm representative said. “It’s about proving how artist-centric branding can deliver real emotion and value to fans and the market.” The rep added, “We’ll keep building a model where the artist and the brand grow together through refined content that draws genuine response from both fans and the industry.”
