In images shared by his agency on the 11th, the star channels Detective Cha Soo-yeol’s tangled psyche, commanding the set the moment the cameras start rolling. The series comes from director Byun Young-joo and writer Lee Young-jong.
Leaning into the poster’s chilling line ― “That filthy, horrific blood runs in my veins” ― Jang meets the lens with razor-sharp eyes and a steely calm, distilling the character’s backstory into a single look.
Off-camera, he kept things upbeat, chatting and laughing with staff; once the shoot began, he snapped into Cha Soo-yeol, dialing up the tension in an instant.
Even in a stills session, Jang mapped the character’s conflicting emotions with precision. His unwavering focus teases what’s to come in Episodes 3 and 4 as the plot deepens.
