Kim Seon-ho is heading back to the stage.

On the 11th, his agency Fantagio announced that Kim has officially joined the cast of the play 'Secret Passage.'

Adapted for Korean audiences from an original work by Japanese playwright Maekawa Tomohiro, 'Secret Passage' will be directed by Min Sae-rom, known for theater productions like 'Jellyfish' and 'Mend the Living.'

The play promises an inventive, time-and-space-hopping narrative designed to pull audiences in. Kim will take on multiple roles for the first time, showing off a new range onstage.

Even while staying busy on screen, Kim has kept his passion for theater front and center. He’s said in past interviews that the energy he gets from sharing the same space with audiences powers him through each project ― and this new play is another clear nod to his enduring love for the stage.

Kim’s credits span the film 'The Childe,' TV hits 'Start-Up' and 'Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha,' the Disney+ original series 'The Tyrant,' and the Netflix series 'When Life Gives You Tangerines.' A brief wedding-wink cameo in 'When Life Gives You Tangerines' recently went viral, sparking the global “Kim Seon-ho Challenge” across social media.

Up next, he’s set to star in the Netflix original series 'Can This Love Be Translated?' and the Disney+ original series 'Delusion' (working title).
