Ok-soon from SBS Plus and ENA’s dating show "I Am Solo Season 24" is speaking out about vicious online rumors and how they’ve taken a toll on her.
The reality standout―who also drew buzz as a self-professed “flirting pro” on the follow-up series "I Am Solo: Love Forever" and the travel reality "Trouble Travel"―opened up on a lawyer’s YouTube channel about the stress of hate comments and misinformation.
In a YouTube Shorts clip titled “Season 24’s Ok-soon Visits a Lawyer,” she got candid about the flood of negativity. “I’ve been getting a ton of hate comments lately,” she said, adding that while she once shrugged it off as “better than being ignored,” the attacks have recently crossed a line. “It’s gotten extreme, and it’s been incredibly stressful.”
She also shut down a pair of strange rumors: that she runs a market stall selling dried greens, and that she attended Kijeon College in Jeonju.
“I’d never even heard of that university―and I’ve never been to Jeonju,” she said, noting that no one in her family works at a market either. “It’s wild. How do people even come up with this stuff?”
Ok-soon continues to stay busy, fielding variety show bookings and making appearances at post-screening film Q&As.
