Actor Lee Sung-min is bringing unfiltered wit to the studio.

Lee steps in as a special MC on SBS’ "My Little Old Boy", airing Sunday at 9 p.m. (KST).

Taping took place just as Lee returned to the spotlight with Park Chan-wook’s buzzy new film "No Other Choice", invited to the Venice International Film Festival. With the Golden Lion decision expected in the early hours of Sept. 7 (KST), Lee even delivered a cheeky “early” acceptance speech that left the studio howling. Host Shin Dong-yup cracked, “You’re a full-on TV pro now,” drawing big laughs.

Lee also revealed that when he’s on a Park Chan-wook set, he shows up with multiple versions of a scene in his pocket―then teased the very specific reason he had to prepare so many variations this time around.

Known for disappearing into every role, Lee shared a bittersweet post-shoot story from "Reborn Rich". After being treated like a conglomerate chairman throughout filming, he admitted that doing “one particular thing” felt awkward once cameras stopped―an occupational hazard that had the show’s “Momvengers,” the panel of celebrity moms, in stitches. He added that during "Golden Time," when he played a doctor at a university hospital and everyone around him called him “Doctor,” he once got rushed to the ER after a centipede bite and ended up startling real hospital staff with his presence―a set of mishaps that turned the studio into a laugh riot.

On a more personal note, Lee confessed he’s recently felt a little left out at home: his daughter shares all her worries and personal stories with Mom, and only reaches out to Dad at one very specific time. The moms chuckled, “She’s a smart daughter.” Moments later, when asked which "My Little Old Boy" son he’d most like to have as a future son-in-law, Lee turned suddenly serious, weighing the options―prompting more laughter.

Catch Lee Sung-min’s candid stories and quick-fire humor on "My Little Old Boy", Sunday at 9 p.m. on SBS.
