Suzy's agency is pushing back hard against baseless wedding chatter, promising swift legal action.
Management SOOP said in a statement that blind items, speculative rumors, malicious posts, and defamatory comments about the star have been circulating, calling them serious violations of her rights and vowing to pursue strong legal action with no settlements or leniency.
The rumor, which claimed Suzy was set to marry a business magnate worth about 2.5 trillion won, raced through online communities after surfacing in finance-world rumor mills―but has since been debunked.
Management SOOP CEO Kim Jang-gyun also pushed back with a stern message on social media: "If you're caught spreading lies, expect consequences."
The label reiterated it will respond firmly to any unlawful acts and do everything possible to protect the artist's rights.
Up next, Suzy stars in the Netflix series "Genie, Make a Wish" premiering October 3, and is currently filming the Disney+ original series "Delusion."
