Girls' Generation Sunny Lends Her Voice to Climate Crisis Art Exhibit

Girls' Generation Sunny Lends Her Voice to Climate Crisis Art Exhibit
Girls' Generation's Sunny
Sunny of Girls' Generation is lending her voice as the narrator of an audio guide.

Through October 26, she will narrate the audio guide for the climate-focused special exhibition "Even on the Day the Waiting Ends" (literal title) at the Gyeonggi Museum of Art. Inspired by the late poet Kim Hyung-young's poem of the same name, the show explores climate change and global warming through an artistic lens.

The exhibition features works that address renewable energy and solutions to fossil-fuel depletion and global warming, often through metaphor and indirect storytelling.

As the guide, Sunny introduces pieces that imagine the recovery from human-made climate disasters from nature's point of view. She donated her time to the project, and her calm, resonant delivery is expected to heighten the show's impact.

After parting ways with SM Entertainment last year, Sunny signed exclusively with A2O Entertainment, founded by her uncle Lee Soo-man, SM's former executive producer, and has been expanding into producing. Earlier this month, all eight members of Girls' Generation reunited to celebrate their 18th anniversary.
