Voice actor and TV personality Seo Yu-ri, 40, has shared the outcome of a police probe into alleged cyberbullying targeting her.

On Aug. 18, Seo posted a notice from the Goyang Police Station in Gyeonggi Province to her social media, writing, “I can finally see the finish line. Hehe. Whether they were on Tor or DC Inside, my boyfriend tracked them all down.”

According to the document, the case was investigated on suspicion of violating the Anti-Stalking Act, defamation under the Information and Communications Network Act, and insult. Police have referred the case to prosecutors.

Back in July, Seo announced plans to take legal action over years of malicious posts in a specific online community.

She said thousands of posts―ranging from insults and false rumors to sexual harassment―had been repeatedly uploaded in a DC Inside-related forum, and that perpetrators exploited a period when she couldn’t respond due to personal circumstances, escalating into online stalking. “I decided I can’t let this slide any longer and will pursue legal action to hold them accountable,” she vowed.

Seo emphasized that she pursued the case with help from her boyfriend, a legal professional she’s currently dating. In June, she revealed she was in a relationship with a 1992-born member of the legal field whom she met through a matchmaking service. Seo married in 2019 and finalized an amicable divorce in 2024.
