Singer-actor Kim Dong-jun has signed an exclusive contract with Golden Moon Entertainment, kicking off a new chapter.
On the 19th, Golden Moon Entertainment announced it had signed Kim to an exclusive deal and said it will support his acting and music careers on all fronts.
Founded by management and A&R veteran CEO Hwang Jung-moon, Golden Moon Entertainment has a long history with Kim. Hwang has been in his corner since 2007―from Kim’s trainee days through boy group ZE:A’s debut, solo releases, and his transition into acting―an 18-year partnership. Most recently, even after Kim’s contract with Major9 ended, Hwang continued backing his work on the concert musical Again 'Dream High,' keeping their collaboration going.
“We’re thrilled to be working with Kim Dong-jun,” the company said. “We’ll keep asking how he can grow as both an actor and a singer―and how to make this journey rewarding for everyone. We’ll stand by him as a sincere, long-term partner.”
Kim added, “There are fields I don’t want to give up―as an actor, singer, variety entertainer, and artist. Golden Moon Entertainment felt like the place where I could speak freely about that hunger and those questions.” He continued, “I’ll bring passion to drama, music, variety, and musical theater.”
Kim recently drew praise for his turn as Jeon Segye in Genie TV’s original drama 'New Recruit Season.3' and proved his musical-theater chops in Again 'Dream High.' The show will play in the Philippines on Aug. 30-31 and in Taipei, Taiwan, from Sept. 4-7. He is currently reviewing scripts for his next drama project.
