Film Choice has announced its venture into the artist agency business, with the signing of Song Hee-jun as its inaugural actor.
Film Choice, a film production and distribution company founded around the seasoned producer Choi Eui-seul, has built a solid career across the film industry, including film festivals, markets, and investment distribution. Starting as a solo brand in 2014 and incorporating in 2021, it has been actively involved in projects such as the distribution/marketing of the 25th Indie Forum's opening and closing film 'Toddler Bike' (directed by Lee Ju-ye) and the production of the recent release 'Güle-Güle' (directed by Ko Bong-soo).
In addition to its existing operations, Film Choice is expanding into the artist agency realm, having signed Song Hee-jun to an exclusive contract, marking a significant leap towards becoming a broad-spectrum entertainment company.
Film Choice stated, "Song Hee-jun, an actor who has crafted his unique color by traversing genre boundaries, possesses an intriguing and unfamiliar charm along with a strong appeal. Song Hee-jun has shown compelling performances starting with the short film 'Hysteria' (directed by Jang Man-min) in 2018, the feature film 'Move the Grave' (directed by Jung Seung-o) in 2019, and the Netflix original series 'The School Nurse Files' (directed by Lee Kyung-mi) in 2020.
Film Choice is signaling its expansion into a comprehensive agency supporting sustainable and professional creative activities for actors, directors, writers, and producers, among other creative talents.
