During the recent filming of episode 8 of the new SBS Life entertainment program 'Queen of Taste Kim Nam-joo', Kim visited the home of the CEO of an Italian high-end brand, Lee Si-hyun, to admire the furniture and accessories, showcasing her impeccable taste in interior design.
In the midst of their conversation, Lee Si-hyun praised Kim, saying, "Watching Kim Nam-joo's content, I realized she has an almost instinctual knack for style. It showed me a different side of her. The title 'Queen of Taste' suits her perfectly."
Feeling modest, Kim Nam-joo shared, "After the first episode aired, I got a call from a close friend who's an interior designer scolding me, saying, 'If you were going to film, you should have called me to place some beautiful objects around.' I was so busy that I ended up stuffing everything into one room the day before the reveal," revealing a funny behind-the-scenes moment.
She continued, "Hearing this, my daughter said, 'Mom, the viewers like the authenticity, the human touch of our content. It shouldn't feel too professional.' She told me, 'You're doing great, why worry?'"
Lee Si-hyun agreed, "That's right. Your daughter is smart," acknowledging the genuine connection that resonated well.
