Trafalgar Releasing, a global event cinema distribution company, has announced the worldwide simultaneous release of the documentary 'BTS ARMY: FOREVER WE ARE YOUNG' on July 30th (Wednesday), covering the global fandom of BTS, known as 'ARMY'. The film will premiere in major theaters including CGV, Megabox, and Lotte Cinema in South Korea, with WizOnsen co-distributing domestically.

Directed by Peabody Award-winning Grace Lee and K-POP researcher and director Patty Ahn, this feature-length documentary focuses on the passion and solidarity of BTS's official fan club, 'ARMY', which boasts over 9 million fans. It tells the story of fans from diverse cities such as Seoul, Los Angeles, Texas, and Mexico City, along with a dance instructor in Seoul who teaches BTS choreography, attendees of the fan-centric concert 'ReactorCon', and examples of the global fan community that has been voluntarily organized since 2013, seriously exploring the new social energy demonstrated by the 'fandom' community.

The film made its world premiere at SXSW (South by Southwest) in 2025, where it received a warm reception and standing ovations from the audience, as well as high praise from fans and critics alike. It has since been screened at international film festivals in Copenhagen, Mexico, Hawaii, and LA, attracting significant attention.

The directors stated, "Without BTS, there's no ARMY; without ARMY, there's no BTS," expressing their hope that "this film will allow fans to feel the strength and creativity of the fandom, and share in both laughter and tears."

Ticket sales are set to open on July 16th (Wednesday) at CGV, Megabox, and Lotte Cinema, with purchases available through each theater's official website and app.
