The Netflix series 'Squid Game' Season 3 has successfully concluded its finale event.

'Squid Game' Season 3 tells the gripping tale of Gi-hun, who loses his closest friend after re-entering the game with a personal agenda, the Front Man who infiltrated the game in disguise, and the fates of the survivors in this brutal competition. Since its release on the 27th, it has climbed to the top of Netflix's TV show rankings worldwide, hinting at another global phenomenon following Seasons 1 and 2.

Following the enthusiastic response, the '2025 K-Content Seoul Journey Week 'Squid Game' Parade' and finale fan event, co-hosted by Netflix and the Seoul Metropolitan Government on the 28th, concluded amidst a fervent atmosphere with the series' stars in attendance.

The parade, stretching from Gwanghwamun Square to Seoul Plaza, featured iconic symbols of 'Squid Game', captivating fans with a variety of performances and spectacular sights. From giant game invitations marked with circles, triangles, and squares, to pink soldiers, piggy banks, honeycomb balloons, and carousels, the iconic elements and the pink guard marching band's finale performance heated up the scene. A 'Squid Game' themed media facade on the exterior of the Seoul Library added a unique touch to the parade.

At Seoul Plaza, fans could immerse themselves in the world of 'Squid Game' through photo zones and experience areas featuring games like the 'Red Light, Green Light' and the 'Ddakji Flip Game'.

The fan event featured appearances by director Hwang Dong-hyuk, actors Lee Jung-jae, Lee Byung-hun, Yim Si-wan, Kang Ha-neul, Wi Ha-jun, Park Gyu-young, Lee Jin-uk, Park Sung-hun, Yang Dong-geun, Kang Ae-shim, Jo Yu-ri, Chae Gook-hee, Lee David, Noh Jae-won, Jeon Seok-ho, and from Season 2, T.O.P, Lee Seo-hwan, Won Ji-an, Kim Beop-rae, Kim Si-eun, and from Season 1, Park Hae-soo, Jung Ho-yeon, Kim Joo-ryoung, Anupam Tripathi, and Lee Yoo-mi, making it a memorable time for fans.

A class photo capturing this special moment with the series' stars was also unveiled, reminding fans of the memorable characters from each season and leaving a lasting impression.

The event kicked off with the actors making their entrance to the acapella version of the series' iconic OST 'Way Back Then', followed by interviews where they shared their thoughts with fans. The 'Fans' Squid Game PICK!' segment allowed for interactive communication, with fans and actors discussing which game they believed they could survive, sparking lively responses and shared laughter on site.

A tribute video looking back on the journey from Season 1 to Season 3 was also revealed, allowing fans worldwide to relive the moments of love and emotion the series has brought.

Director Hwang Dong-hyuk expressed his gratitude, saying, "I want to thank the fans here, and all the fans around the world and in Korea who have watched our work. It feels like we've received an overwhelming amount of love. Thank you so much for everything." Lee Jung-jae shared, "I've made many memories and scenes with the director and fellow actors that I still remember. Thank you for supporting and loving 'Squid Game'. It finally feels like we've reached the finale." Lee Byung-hun added, "This project has become a phenomenon that has made a significant mark in our country's film and television history. It's been meaningful and an honor to be part of such a work."

Park Hae-soo from Season 1 said, "It's been an emotional and grateful journey. I sincerely thank the actors who have made the world tense, cry, and be moved from Season 1 to 3," while Jung Ho-yeon expressed, "Thank you so much to everyone who came out in this hot weather. Please give 'Squid Game' Season 3 a lot of love."

Meanwhile, the 'Squid Game' finale event, from the parade to the fan event, has once again surprised everyone with its scale. The event, prepared over approximately 348 days starting from July 2024, involved a total of 456 staff members, showcasing its massive scale.

The experience zone at Seoul Plaza, featuring themes like the Ddakji Flip, carousel, and jump rope, captured the fans' senses. The parade, spanning 1.2km, featured a 7.5m tall 'Young-hee' doll, drawing everyone's attention. Approximately 38,000 fans attended the parade, with around 9,000 attendees at the fan event, and the online live stream hit 4.4 million views within two hours, proving the global popularity and interest in 'Squid Game' once again.

'Squid Game' Season 3 is streaming on Netflix.
