
JENNIE's 'Ruby' continues to make waves as it secures the title of 'Best Album of 2025' across prestigious platforms.
On the 26th (local time), the British music magazine NME announced on its official website that JENNIE's debut solo studio album 'Ruby' has been selected as one of the 'Best Albums of 2025'.
NME described 'Ruby' as a "bold and original new release." It went on to say, "JENNIE has remarkably captured her own mythos in vivid detail," highlighting 'Zen' as a standout track.
Previously, JENNIE's 'Ruby' was uniquely recognized as the 'Best Album of 2025' by major American music publications such as Rolling Stone, Complex, and Billboard, showcasing her strength as a solo artist within the K-pop industry.
'Ruby' showcases JENNIE's direct involvement in album production, encapsulating her identity and the boundless possibilities of her music. The album features a diverse range of genres across 15 tracks, including the hit single 'like JENNIE'.
This year, JENNIE set a new milestone in K-pop history with 'Ruby', achieving the highest first-week sales (661,130 copies) among K-pop female solo artists. She also became the first K-pop female solo artist to chart three songs simultaneously on the Billboard 'HOT 100'.
