Singer Paul Kim has made his debut as a global MC.

Recently, Paul Kim was invited to the 'Korea-ASEAN Music Festival 2025 ROUND in Malaysia' held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, where he took on both celebratory performances and the role of MC, showcasing his versatility as an entertainer.

Taking the stage as an MC abroad for the first time since his debut held special significance. Moreover, conducting the entire event in English without the need for translation over two days made it all the more meaningful. With his smooth and calm delivery, coupled with a bright energy, he contributed to the festival's high-quality presentation.

The festival received a lot of attention even before it started. It was a large-scale music festival with participation from three Korean artists, three Malaysian teams, and teams from nine ASEAN countries, totaling 15 teams from 11 countries. Beyond just a performance, the festival also aimed to comfort the deep sorrow and pain left by the earthquake in Myanmar in the ASEAN region. It conveyed new hope through the healing power of music.

As an artist, Paul Kim also delivered deep emotions. He performed five songs, from his debut song 'Coffee with Me' to 'HANGANG', 'I Remember', 'Every Day, Every Moment', receiving warm cheers from the local fans. Although it was his first stage in Malaysia, it reaffirmed Paul Kim's already elevated status in the ASEAN market. He even surprised the audience with a cover song by Malaysia's OST queen, Anyar Zain, further elevating the atmosphere.

Paul Kim shared, "It was a time filled with new experiences, from my first live performance in Malaysia to my first time as an MC abroad. I was happy to be warmly welcomed and I won't forget the gratitude I felt."
