MC Mong, the executive producer at One Hundred, was removed from his duties on the 13th due to personal reasons, sparking rumors that this might be related to the scandal involving JU HAKNYEON of THE BOYZ.
On the 18th, One Hundred officially announced that JU HAKNYEON would be excluded from THE BOYZ.
Previously, the Japanese media outlet Shūkan Bunshun reported last month that JU HAKNYEON visited a private bar in Tokyo with friends from Japan, where he was seen drinking and displaying intimate physical contact with Japanese adult film star Asuka Kirara.
On the 13th, One Hundred announced that MC Mong had been removed from his duties due to personal reasons and would also cease his work as the executive producer. MC Mong, who co-founded One Hundred with Chairman Cha Ga-won and served as an internal director at subsidiary Big Planet Made, has suddenly left his position, raising suspicions that he might not have been involved in the controversial drinking session with JU HAKNYEON.
Two days before the report was released, on the 16th, One Hundred had already decided to remove JU HAKNYEON from the team and terminate his exclusive contract after assessing the situation. They stated, "We have decided to halt JU HAKNYEON's activities due to issues related to his personal life, and after thorough discussion, we have finalized his withdrawal from the team and termination of his exclusive contract."
Currently, MC Mong has not made any statements regarding these suspicions.
JU HAKNYEON first gained fame in April 2017 when he appeared on Mnet's 'Produce 101' Season 2. He later debuted as a member of THE BOYZ in December of the same year.
