The upcoming episode of SBS's variety show "Whenever Possible" will feature Namkoong Min, Jeon Yeo-been, and Lee Sul from the new SBS Friday-Saturday drama "Our Movie" as "gap friends," promising a session of infectious laughter around Yeouido.
During the recent filming, Yu Jae-seok made Namkoong Min blush by reviving a decades-old nickname. When Yu Jae-seok greeted him with "It's been such a long time, Min," Namkoong Min responded, "You used to call me 'Koongmin.' Please, just like old times." Indeed, Yu Jae-seok had misunderstood Namkoong Min's name, calling him 'Koongmin' instead. Yu Jae-seok explained, "We've known each other since the 'X-Man' days. I guess 'Koongmin' just stuck because I kept calling you that," making Namkoong Min laugh and say, "It feels weird to be called just 'Min' now."
Moreover, Namkoong Min could not hide his surprise at his first outdoor television show appearance. Transforming into a television show senior for Jeon Yeo-been and Lee Sul, he enthusiastically coached them in the style of 'X-Man,' saying, "Come closer and let's chat." However, he was soon taken aback by an unexpected remark from the host during a game. Namkoong Min, experiencing the raw nature of variety shows for the first time, was heard saying, "I didn't realize variety shows had become this free-spirited." Yu Jae-seok laughed heartily at Namkoong Min's reaction, noting, "Broadcasting has changed a lot, hasn't it?"
What exactly was the host's surprising declaration that shocked Namkoong Min? The anticipation rises for the non-stop laughter and banter between variety show veterans Yu Jae-seok, Yoo Yeon-seok, and the variety show newbies Namkoong Min, Jeon Yeo-been, and Lee Sul in the upcoming episode of "Whenever Possible."
"Whenever Possible" airs this Tuesday at 9 PM.
