The group ENHYPEN has swept the top spots on major music charts in Japan with their latest release.
According to the latest charts released by Japan's Oricon on June 12th (for the week of June 16th, covering the period from June 2nd to 8th), ENHYPEN's sixth mini-album 'DESIRE: UNLEASH' has amassed a total of 308,787 points, securing the number one spot in the 'Weekly Combined Album Ranking'.
This ranking combines CD sales, digital downloads, and streaming counts to determine its positions. The points ENHYPEN earned with this release have surpassed their previous record set by their second full album 'ROMANCE: UNTOLD' last year, which had 294,086 points, marking the group's highest achievement to date.
Oricon noted, "ENHYPEN has achieved their 10th number one spot in the 'Weekly Combined Album Ranking', which places them third in the history of 'Total Number of Works Achieving Number One in Combined Album Rankings'."
Moreover, ENHYPEN also topped the 'Weekly Album Ranking' and 'Weekly Digital Album Ranking', making them triple crown winners on Oricon alone.
ENHYPEN's impressive record sales also shone on Billboard Japan. 'DESIRE: UNLEASH' claimed the top spot in Billboard Japan's latest 'Top Album Sales' (for the week of June 11th, covering the period from June 2nd to 8th) released the day before.
The album's title track 'Bad Desire (With or Without You)' landed in the 8th spot on the 'Hot Shot Song' list, which highlights tracks that have seen an increase in combined points from downloads, streaming, and video metrics compared to the previous week.
Meanwhile, ENHYPEN is set to perform 'Bad Desire (With or Without You)' on Mnet's 'M Countdown' today (June 12th).
