'Hi-FIVE' is a comedic action adventure that follows five individuals who, after undergoing organ transplants, accidentally acquire unique superpowers. They then encounter those who seek to exploit their abilities. Amidst the buzz for its inventive premise, the distributor NEW released what they are calling 'novel stills' on the 4th, featuring Shin Goo and JINYOUNG in the role of 'Yeong-chun', the main villain portrayed in a dual role that has garnered much attention.
The newly released stills highlight the character 'Yeong-chun', who, after receiving a pancreas transplant, gains the superpower to absorb youth, leading to a rapid rejuvenation. The striking resemblance between Shin Goo and JINYOUNG in the role of 'Yeong-chun' is particularly eye-catching.

In one shot, both actors, dressed in identical outfits and sharing a chilling expression, showcase an impressive level of synchronicity. Following this, the two 'Yeong-chuns' emit subtly different vibes in similar situations - Shin Goo portrays an aged, weary 'Yeong-chun', while JINYOUNG vividly brings to life a confident and youthful 'Yeong-chun', revealing the multifaceted nature of a character who yearns for eternal life.
JINYOUNG, who appears in the latter half of the movie with a changed appearance, reportedly delved deep into studying Shin Goo's portrayal to maintain the continuity of 'Yeong-chun's emotional arc and unique gaze. "I studied everything from Mr. Shin Goo's distinctive speech patterns and walk to his sitting posture," JINYOUNG shared. He prepared for the role by listening to recordings of Shin Goo reading all of 'Yeong-chun's lines, repeatedly practicing to ignite his acting passion. The formidable villain 'Yeong-chun', brought to life by Shin Goo's overwhelming presence and JINYOUNG's fervent dedication, is captivating audiences nationwide.
